Program Overview

This year’s conference features many opportunities to interact and learn, including: selected paper sessions, plenary talks, discussion symposia, and workshop sessions.

A two-day post-conference workshop on “Environmental Regulation and Innovation in Local Communities,” led by Donna Ramirez-Harrington (University of Vermont) and Martin Heintzelman (Clarkson University), will be held after the Annual Meeting from the afternoon of Tuesday, June 11 until the afternoon of Wednesday, June 12.

The Annual Meeting will begin with an informal opening reception at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel on Sunday; the academic program will follow on Monday and Tuesday.

This year, we offer an optional boat trip (at an extra cost). The boat trip will tour New Hampshire’s shores, visit one of its islands, and will include dinner. The boat trip is contingent on having a sufficient number of people registered for the event.

We encourage participation from academic, public, and private sector economists with interests that include agricultural, environmental, or resource issues; and welcome professionals, faculty, and students.
